The tragic incident claimed six lives and left about 28 others injured after thousands of hopeful applicants crowded the venue for enlistment screening.
Mr. Bagbin, accompanied by Parliament’s leadership, visited the injured victims at the 37 Military Hospital on Thursday to express sympathy and offer support to the families affected.
He explained that the donation was meant to ease the financial burden on victims and reaffirm Parliament’s solidarity with the bereaved and the injured.
