Aspiring NPP Presidential Flagbearer, Ing. Kwabena Agyapong, has called for a shift in focus from launching new projects to properly maintaining existing ones in Ghana.

He emphasized that one of the country’s main challenges is poor maintenance, noting that successive governments often prioritize new projects while neglecting the management of resources for ongoing initiatives. According to Ing. Agyapong, effective management of funds is what truly matters for sustainable development.
He argued that Ghana needs serious-minded leaders who are deliberate in their actions, ensure accountability, and focus on maximizing the value of investments rather than simply pursuing politically popular projects.Ing. Agyapong stressed that proper stewardship of existing infrastructure and resources will go a long way in addressing the country’s development challenges.
