- Chairman Wontumi has filed a motion at the High Court to review his GHS 50 million bail
- His legal team argues the bail is excessive and restricts his release
- Attempts by NPP leaders to visit him at the NIB headquarters were unsuccessful

In a related development, key NPP figures including former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin were unsuccessful in their efforts to visit Wontumi at the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) headquarters in Accra.
Though permitted entry to the Ridge premises on Friday, May 30, the delegation left without seeing him, confirming that access had been denied.
Wontumi had earlier been transferred to the NIB following his arrest and detention by EOCO amid ongoing criminal investigations.
