The chairmanship race of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency has gained fresh momentum following the launch of the Team Jabari 2026 Manifesto by Captain (Rtd.) Reuben Solomon Jabari.
The manifesto, launched on Sunday, outlines the campaign’s vision of building a stronger, united and grassroots-focused NDC in the constituency ahead of the party’s internal elections.
Under the theme “One Team, One Vision, One Victory,” Team Jabari says it seeks to place grassroots members, branches, polling stations, women and young people at the centre of its proposed leadership agenda.
A Grassroots-Focused Vision
At the heart of the manifesto is a commitment to building “a stronger, united, transparent and grassroots-rooted constituency.”
The campaign argues that electoral success depends on first establishing strong and functional constituency structures.
It therefore envisions an NDC that is united, organised, transparent, financially resilient, digitally connected and firmly anchored at the grassroots.
A key message of the manifesto is “Every Member Matters,” reflecting the campaign’s pledge to give greater attention to branches, electoral areas, polling stations, women, youth and individual party members.
According to Team Jabari, its proposed leadership will emphasise collective participation and responsibility rather than concentrating decision-making around a few individuals.
Six Principles for Leadership
The campaign has identified six principles that it says will guide its leadership:
-
Integrity
-
Accountability
-
Inclusion
-
Discipline
-
Service
-
Collective responsibility
Team Jabari says these principles are intended to shape a leadership style that is transparent, inclusive and responsive to the needs of party members.
“Serving with Integrity, Leading with Unity”
The campaign has also outlined a three-point philosophy: “Serving with Integrity. Leading with Unity. Winning with the People.”
It says the objective is to turn unity from a campaign slogan into a practical principle of leadership while ensuring that grassroots members remain central to decision-making and party mobilisation.
Its broader action plan is captured in five words: Organise, Unite, Empower, Mobilise and Win.
According to the campaign, the strategy will focus on strengthening party structures, empowering members and improving the organisational capacity of the constituency.
A Roadmap for the Constituency
Team Jabari describes the manifesto as more than a campaign document, presenting it as a roadmap for rebuilding confidence, strengthening party structures and reconnecting the NDC with its grassroots base in Atwima Kwanwoma.
As the internal contest intensifies, Captain (Rtd.) Reuben Solomon Jabari is taking his message to delegates with promises of transparent leadership, disciplined organisation, grassroots inclusion and collective responsibility.
The manifesto launch has added another dimension to the chairmanship contest, with Team Jabari positioning unity and grassroots mobilisation as central to its campaign.
The campaign’s message is summed up in five objectives: build the structure, unite the people, empower the grassroots, mobilise the constituency and win.
