One Injured as Fire Guts Compound House at Akyeremade; Several Tenants Rendered Homeless

A fire outbreak at Atwima Akyeremade in the Atwima Kwanwoma District of the Ashanti Region has destroyed a compound house, leaving several tenants homeless and one person injured.
The fire reportedly started at the family residence before spreading rapidly through the house, destroying household items, personal belongings and other valuables.
Some affected residents have raised concerns about the circumstances surrounding the incident, with some attributing the outbreak to a power outage in the area.
One of the victims, Theresa Frimpomaa, a mother of four, sustained injuries during the incident and is currently receiving medical attention.
Personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service responded to the scene and successfully brought the fire under control.
Investigations are ongoing to establish the actual cause of the fire and determine the full extent of the damage.
