No More ‘I Haven’t Gotten Anything’ – Solomon Jabari Supports Twedie Residents With Start-Up Capital
Solomon Jabari says the initiative will extend across Atwima Kwanwoma to empower residents, support businesses and bridge the gap between the NDC leadership and the grassroots.

Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency NDC Chairman hopeful, Solomon Jabari, has supported residents of Twedie with start-up capital as part of efforts to empower party supporters and help them establish sustainable businesses.
The initiative was launched on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, with beneficiaries receiving financial support to invest in various businesses and income-generating activities.
Speaking to journalists after the programme, Solomon Jabari said the initiative was designed to address what he described as the “I haven’t gotten anything” syndrome among party supporters.
According to him, he has also liaised with a bank to provide beneficiaries with loans at an affordable interest rate of 15% for a six-month period.
He said the initiative would not be limited to Twedie, explaining that plans were underway to extend it to the branch level across the Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency to ensure that more people have access to opportunities to start or expand businesses.
“We want to take it to the branch level so that everybody can get something to do,” he said.
Mr Jabari also disclosed that he had imported more than 600 tricycles, including Pragya vehicles, to support farmers and other residents in the constituency with transportation and commercial activities.
He said the various interventions formed part of his broader vision to improve the livelihoods of residents and strengthen the relationship between the party and its grassroots supporters.
“My vision is that by this time next year, Atwima Kwanwoma will be one of the best constituencies in the Ashanti Region,” he stated.
He urged beneficiaries to make good use of the financial support and invest it wisely, stressing that the initiative was ultimately intended to improve their own livelihoods.
Mr Jabari further explained that the programme would help bridge the gap between party leadership and the grassroots, adding that beneficiaries could access loans ranging from GH¢2,000 to GH¢20,000.
He assured residents that the initiative would continue and would be extended beyond Twedie to other communities within the constituency.
Beneficiaries Welcome Initiative
Deputy Women’s Organiser for the Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency, Barikusu Musah, expressed her excitement about the initiative and commended Mr Jabari for what she described as a meaningful intervention.
She said the programme would help address apathy among party supporters by ensuring that people felt supported beyond election periods.
According to her, the initiative could help dispel concerns from supporters who might otherwise feel that they had not benefited from the party’s return to power.
Some beneficiaries also expressed gratitude to Solomon Jabari, saying the support would enable them to invest in their businesses and improve their livelihoods.
They said the flexible repayment arrangement would make it easier for them to repay the money in instalments while growing their businesses.
One of the beneficiaries praised Mr Jabari for focusing on the youth and said the initiative could serve as an example for political leaders across the country.
The beneficiary noted that political supporters often receive attention during election periods but are left without support after elections, adding that Mr Jabari’s intervention was a positive step towards changing that situation.
The beneficiaries thanked him for the gesture and expressed hope that the programme would be sustained and expanded to cover more residents.
The initiative, according to Mr Jabari, is expected to continue as part of his broader efforts to promote economic empowerment and strengthen grassroots engagement across the Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency.
