The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has confirmed two additional Mpox cases, bringing the country’s total to 119 as of June 22, 2025.

In its latest briefing, the GHS confirmed there have been no new deaths, keeping the total death count at zero.

Currently, no patients are hospitalized for Mpox in Ghana.

Mpox, previously known as monkeypox, is primarily transmitted through close physical contact with an infected individual.

Health officials continue to urge the public to follow safety guidelines closely and to seek medical care promptly if symptoms arise.

The GHS remains vigilant, emphasizing its ongoing efforts to monitor the outbreak and enforce measures to curb further transmission.
