Lawson Limited Group Signs Three-Year Sponsorship Deal With Medeama SC

The Lawson Limited Group has signed a three-year sponsorship agreement with Medeama Sporting Club (SC).

The agreement was signed on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at the Hotel de Hilda in Tarkwa in the Western Region.

Ahead of the signing ceremony, Dr. Lawson Kyei Manu, Chief Executive Officer of Lawson Limited Group, together with his entourage and some officials of Medeama SC, inspected the Tarkwa TNA Stadium, the club’s home ground.

During the ceremony, Medeama supporters and club stakeholders presented Dr. Lawson with a customised jersey as a gesture of appreciation for his support.

Speaking on behalf of Dr. Lawson Kyei Manu, Danis Agyen Frimpong, Administrative Manager of Lawson Limited Group, popularly known as Kuffour, said the partnership is aimed at supporting Medeama and reigniting Ghanaians’ interest in the Ghana Premier League.

Kuffour also said the partnership seeks to help reduce the “stress” people experience by providing opportunities for entertainment through sports.

On the sponsorship package, Kuffour said it includes a large but undisclosed financial contribution to the club.

He added that Lawson Limited’s products and media platforms would now be used to promote Medeama SC and its activities.

According to Kuffour, the company will also provide about thousand and five (1005) free tickets to football fans during the season, with 100 tickets allocated for each Medeama home match in Tarkwa.

The initiative, he said, is expected to begin with Medeama’s CAF competition match against PT Masembe in Tarkwa on Sunday.

Kuffour further announced plans by Dr. Lawson and the Lawson Limited Group to extend their support to other sports clubs across Ghana.

The President of Medeama SC, Mr. Moses Armah Parker, expressed gratitude to the Lawson Limited Group for its support and partnership with the club.
