KUMACA Launches 70th Anniversary Celebration to Mark Seven Decades of Academic Excellence

Kumasi Academy (KUMACA) has officially launched activities to commemorate its 70th anniversary, celebrating seven decades of academic excellence, discipline and contribution to national development.
The anniversary launch brought together past and present students, school authorities, traditional leaders, government representatives and other stakeholders to reflect on the school’s achievements and chart a path for its future.

Speaking to the media after the launch, the Global President of the Kumasi Academy Past Students Association, Okunini Harry Boakye, said the anniversary provides an opportunity for old students to renew their commitment to the development of their alma mater.
He said the association remains committed to supporting initiatives aimed at improving teaching and learning, infrastructure and the overall development of KUMACA.
Okunini Harry Boakye also called on past students and other stakeholders to unite and contribute towards sustaining the school’s legacy as it begins another chapter in its history.
The 70th anniversary celebration is expected to feature a number of activities aimed at showcasing KUMACA’s rich history, achievements and impact on Ghanaian society.
