  • Upper West Region recorded the highest inflation at 24.8%

Ghana’s inflation rate has continued its steady decline, hitting 12.1% in July 2025—the lowest figure since October 2021.

The drop from June’s 13.7% rate is largely attributed to falling food and non-food prices, according to the Ghana Statistical Service.

Food inflation dipped to 15.1%, while non-food inflation eased to 9.5%.

Despite the national improvement, the Upper West Region still leads with the highest rate at 24.8%, while the Central Region recorded the lowest at 7.7%. The sustained decline could prompt a shift in monetary policy direction.
