A two-year-old girl has died after being trapped in a domestic fire at Cantonments in Accra, near Susanna Lodge.
The fire was reported earlier on Sunday afternoon while the child was inside the premises.
According to reports, the young girl was unable to escape the building and died in the incident.
Her remains have since been handed over to the Cantonments Police for the necessary procedures.
The Ghana National Fire Service is expected to provide further information on the incident, including the circumstances surrounding the outbreak of the fire and the response by emergency personnel.
