The Bank of Ghana (BoG) has officially released the list of twenty digital credit service providers operating without proper licensing.
In a statement, the BoG highlighted that these entities continue to offer digital loan services to the Ghanaian public via digital platforms, despite lacking the necessary licence or approval from the Bank of Ghana.

This ongoing activity breaches the directives outlined in the Digital Credit Service Providers in Ghana policy issued in September 2025 (Notice No. BG/GOV/SEC/2025/30), as well as other relevant legal frameworks, the Bank stated on Monday, August 3.
The BoG also notified the public that the following mobile loan applications are functioning without the required authorisation from the Bank.
