Aggrieved Menzgold Customers Urge Faster Trial After Supreme Court Ruling
Investors Say Nearly Eight Years of Pain Makes Speedy Justice Essential

- Aggrieved investors urge courts to fast-track NAM1’s trial after Supreme Court ruling.
- Spokesperson says over 244 customers have died since the Menzgold collapse.
- Investors insist daily hearings are needed to deliver timely justice and closure.
Aggrieved customers of Menzgold are calling for an expedited trial of the company’s CEO, Nana Appiah Mensah (NAM1), following the Supreme Court’s decision to dismiss his application challenging earlier rulings by the High Court and Court of Appeal.
Speaking to the media, Fredrick Forson, spokesperson for the affected investors, appealed to the judiciary to accelerate the trial, stressing that customers have endured years of pain and uncertainty.
“We have gone through a lot. Nearly eight years have passed, and more than 244 of our members have died during this period,” Forson revealed.
He highlighted the severe toll the scandal has taken on investors—financial collapse, broken families, emotional trauma, and shattered hopes. Many of the surviving customers, he said, remain in dire conditions as they wait for justice.
“All we are asking is for the trial to move faster so justice can be served,” he added.
Forson welcomed the Supreme Court’s ruling and expressed hope that daily hearings would resume soon to ensure the case is brought to a final close. According to him, swift justice is essential to restore public confidence and bring closure to families who have suffered for nearly a decade.
