Newly elected New Patriotic Party (NPP) First Vice Chairman Kwadwo Fosu Boadu, popularly known as Kojo Bamba, says the party’s return to power in 2028 must focus on creating meaningful opportunities for young Ghanaians.

In his first message after his election, Mr Fosu Boadu said his political ambition was not driven by a desire to place himself above others but by a commitment to representing the interests and aspirations of the youth.

“I do not see myself as better than anyone else. I see myself as a voice for the youth, a representative of their hopes, dreams and aspirations,” he said.

He added that his vision goes beyond personal political success and is focused on helping create opportunities that will enable the next generation to realise its potential.

According to him, the NPP’s objective of returning to government in 2028 should be tied to a broader vision for national development rather than simply winning an election.

Mr Fosu Boadu warned that failing to regain power could leave many young people without the opportunities they need to improve their lives.

“So many destinies risk remaining in the shadows if we fail to restore power in 2028. Our youth deserve opportunities, our people deserve hope, and our future deserves a renewed commitment to progress,” he said.

He stressed that any political comeback must therefore be accompanied by a renewed commitment to building an environment where young Ghanaians can pursue their ambitions and contribute meaningfully to the country’s development.
