Four Dead, One Injured in Trailer Crash at Anyinaso Junction
The crash involving a Toyota Voxy and a MAN Diesel trailer occurred early Monday at Anyinaso Junction on the Accra-Kumasi Highway.

Four people have died and another has been injured in a fatal road crash involving a Toyota Voxy and a MAN Diesel trailer at Anyinaso Junction on the Accra-Kumasi Highway.
The accident occurred in the early hours of Monday, September 28, 2026, prompting a distress call to the Bunso Fire Station at about 5:21 a.m.
A seven-member firefighting team arrived at the scene at 5:35 a.m. and began rescue operations for victims trapped in the vehicles.
One male victim was successfully freed from the wreckage and transported to the Kibi Government Hospital for medical treatment.
However, three males and one female were pronounced dead at the scene.
The Toyota Voxy, with registration number GR 9430-26, was completely destroyed in the crash, while the MAN Diesel trailer, registered GS 4064-26, suffered damage to its front section.
Firefighters secured the scene and assisted with traffic management to ensure the smooth flow of vehicles on the busy highway.
The cause of the crash remains unclear as investigations continue.
The scene has since been handed over to the Ghana Police Service for further investigation.
