Kennedy Agyapong Has Nowhere To Go; He Will Stay In NPP Forever – John Boadu
John Boadu says Kennedy Agyapong’s long association with the NPP makes it unlikely that he will leave the party.

New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Chairman hopeful John Boadu has expressed confidence that former NPP presidential candidate Kennedy Ohene Agyapong will remain with the party despite occasional disagreements among his supporters.
According to Mr Boadu, Kennedy Agyapong has been closely associated with the NPP throughout his political career and is unlikely to leave the party.
“Kennedy Agyapong has nowhere to go. He will stay in the NPP forever. He was born with the NPP, so he will stay in the NPP forever,” John Boadu said.
Speaking in an interview with Kwame Tanko on the Ghana Se Sen Morning Show on Lawson TV/Radio, he said Mr Agyapong would not thrive politically outside the NPP.
“He won’t survive in any other party than the NPP. He won’t go anywhere,” he added.
John Boadu was also asked about reactions from Kennedy Agyapong’s supporters following the NPP’s presidential primaries.
He said it was understandable for supporters who had expected their preferred candidate to win to express their disappointment, particularly immediately after the contest.
“If temper rises, you say your mind, and it is good to do that,” he said.
According to Mr Boadu, Kennedy Agyapong’s supporters had high expectations that he would emerge victorious in the presidential primaries, giving them reason to openly express their feelings after the outcome.
He, however, believes such tensions are temporary and will eventually subside.
“We know Ken through the NPP, and he will stay in the NPP,” Mr Boadu stated.
