Mahama Travels to AU Summit in Addis Ababa
President John Dramani Mahama and First Lady Lordina Dramani Mahama travel to Addis Ababa for the 39th AU Summit

- President John Dramani Mahama has departed for Addis Ababa to attend the 39th Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union.
- He will lead discussions on Reparations, Gender, and Financial Inclusion, host the ‘Addis Reckoning’ breakfast event
- First Lady Lordina Dramani Mahama will attend the OAFLAD Summit, with both expected to return to Accra on Monday, February 16
President John Dramani Mahama has departed Accra for Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, to participate in the 39th Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union.
During the Summit, President Mahama will lead discussions on key issues, including Reparations, Gender, and Financial Inclusion, and co-host several high-level side events. He is also scheduled to host a breakfast event on Saturday focusing on the Accra Reset initiative, titled ‘Addis Reckoning’.
In addition, he is expected to hold bilateral meetings with fellow African leaders and heads of multilateral organisations, and participate in the Italy–African Forum.
Accompanying him is the First Lady, Lordina Dramani Mahama, who will attend the Summit of the Organisation of African First Ladies for Development (OAFLAD).
President Mahama and the First Lady are expected to return to Accra on Monday, February 16.
