As the New Patriotic Party (NPP) inches closer to its crucial presidential primaries, a groundswell of goodwill, prayers, and open endorsements is steadily building around Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, with delegates and supporters from the Upper East and Northern Regions declaring their unwavering support for his candidacy.
During the Christmas festivities — a season symbolic of hope, renewal, and new beginnings — messages poured in from party faithful who described Ing. Agyepong as the “new dawn” the NPP urgently needs. Many likened his candidacy to the birth of a saviour, expressing confidence that January 31, 2026, will mark a defining moment when delegates crown him the party’s flagbearer for the 2028 elections.
From Builsa South to Talensi, Yendi to Tamale, and across constituencies in the Upper East and Northern Regions, delegates consistently praised Ing. Agyepong’s humility, integrity, competence, and long record of sacrifice for the party. Constituency officers, youth organisers, communication directors, and grassroots supporters alike described his message as deeply touching, inspiring, and unifying — a sharp contrast to politics driven by money and division.

Several delegates recalled how his visits to their regions attracted renewed interest and participation, especially among rural supporters who, in their words, “do not need money to make the right choice.” Others spoke emotionally about his decades of selfless service, noting that many would have quit the party under similar circumstances — but Ing. Agyepong stayed, endured, and continued to serve.
“You are the cleanest among them,” one supporter declared, while another added, “If people vote genuinely, you are the preferred candidate.” Many pledged not only their votes but active mobilisation across constituencies, insisting that competence, character, and unity must triumph over inducements and factionalism.
International endorsements also emerged, with party supporters abroad describing Ing. Agyepong as a “gentle politician” whose message of politics without borders resonates beyond Ghana’s shores. Across boardrooms, polling stations, radio studios, and community meetings, his name continues to spark admiration and hope.

A recurring theme in the messages was the belief that Ing. Kwabena Agyepong represents more than a candidate — he symbolizes restoration. Delegates expressed confidence that his leadership would reunite the party, reclaim lost supporters, and ultimately return the NPP to power.
With chants of “Victory awaits you on January 31,” prayers for divine guidance, and assurances of total backing, delegates boldly predicted not only his victory in the primaries but his swearing-in as President of the Republic of Ghana on January 7, 2029.
“Together we can achieve our ultimate goal. Our esteemed delegates in the Yendi Constituency have already endorsed Ing. Kwabena Agyepong because of his love for and commitment to the party (NPP). We assure him that victory in the Yendi Constituency has already been secured, and that he will be sworn in as President of the Republic of Ghana on January 7, 2029, In Allah’s name,” One party member said.

As one supporter put it succinctly:
“He is a man of clean hands, a clear mind, and a compassionate heart. We are solidly behind him.”
The momentum, it seems, is no longer quiet — it is loud, emotional, and nationwide.
