(VIDEO) “My Documents Are Genuine—Illiterate Opambour Should Go Back to School,” Says Retired Military Officer Solomon Jabari

Retired Military Officer and Mining Consultant, Reuben Solomon Jabari, has vowed to defend a parcel of land he claims to have legally acquired, amid an ongoing ownership dispute with popular preacher Rev. Ebenezer Adarkwa Yiadom, also known as Opambour. The tension between the two intensified after Opambour, during a broadcast on his media platform on Sunday, April 13, 2025, accused Mr. Jabari of possessing fake land documents and warned that anyone who encroaches on the land would be dealt with. In a swift and fiery response on Fox FM’s Morning Drive on Monday, Mr. Jabari, who is also the NDC Chairman for Island City, dismissed Opambour’s allegations and challenged him to present his own documents to prove ownership. “Opambour is being misled by illiteracy and flattery from a handful of church members who make him think he’s above the law,” Jabari said. He publicly displayed what he claims are authentic documents to support his claim to the land and insisted that Opambour had been misinformed by unscrupulous intermediaries, often referred to as “goro boys.” “Let me make this clear: I cannot deceive the noble Asafohene with fake documents. He is an educated and wise leader. Opambour should be careful and stop dragging the Asafohene’s name through the mud,” Jabari said. He further called on Opambour to stop using religion as a cover for alleged land grabbing. “Opambour should go to school and stop hiding behind God’s name to take what’s not his.
