Majority Leader Mahama Ayariga has assured that the government will ensure cocoa farmers benefit when international cocoa prices rise.
Speaking on the floor of Parliament of Ghana during the concluding remarks on the State of the Nation Address (SONA) by President John Dramani Mahama, he highlighted several policies implemented by the NDC government within its first year in office.
Mahama Ayariga emphasized that measures are being put in place to ensure that farmers share in the gains from favorable market conditions, reflecting the administration’s commitment to supporting the agricultural sector.
