Government Opens 2025 Recruitment for Police, Prisons, Fire & Immigration Services

The Ministry of the Interior has announced that recruitment into Ghana’s major internal security agencies will officially commence on November 15 and close on December 15, 2025.

The nationwide recruitment covers the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Prisons Service, Ghana National Fire Service, and Ghana Immigration Service, and is part of ongoing efforts to enhance national security, boost public safety, and strengthen institutional capacity.

In a public notice, the Ministry encouraged disciplined, patriotic, and qualified Ghanaians eager to serve with integrity and professionalism to apply within the one-month window. Applicants are urged to carefully review all requirements and ensure they meet the eligibility criteria before submission.

The Ministry emphasized that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for screening, aptitude tests, and background checks. It further warned against fraudsters, stressing that no fees are charged at any stage of the recruitment and that anyone caught using intermediaries or submitting forged documents will be disqualified and prosecuted.
