Henry Nana Boakye, the current New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Organizer, has officially announced his intention to contest for the position of First National Vice Chairman of the party.
Speaking on Monday, March 2, 2026, during an interview with Kwame Tanko on the Ghana Se Sen Show, Nana B outlined his decades-long experience in politics and within the NPP.
“I have served as polling agent, constituency officer, and in other executive roles of the party,” he said, emphasizing that his extensive experience equips him to contribute meaningfully to the party’s leadership.
With 27 years of active political engagement and 22 years of representing the party publicly, Nana B stated that while he may be young, he possesses the knowledge, expertise, and passion required to help the NPP return to power in 2028.
He also assured party members that the remaining internal elections, including his contest, would be conducted fairly, following the model set during the recently concluded presidential candidate election.
Nana B’s declaration adds momentum to the NPP’s ongoing internal election process, as party executives and members prepare to determine the leadership that will steer the party into the next general elections.
