New Patriotic Party (NPP) has released a detailed schedule for its branch and regional executive elections as part of a nationwide reorganisation exercise aimed at bolstering internal structures.

Speaking at a press briefing on Wednesday, 18 February 2026, Justin Kodua Frimpong outlined the timelines for the various stages of the electoral process. Branch-level activities, including nominations, vetting, appeals, data entry, and album validation, are slated to run from 15 July to 9 August 2026.

Regional executive nominations will take place from 15 to 17 July, with vetting scheduled for 20 to 23 July. The appeals process is set for 24 to 30 July, while notices of poll will be issued between 27 and 30 July. Elections for regional executive officers are planned for 8 and 9 August, with data entry and validation of results from 10 to 23 August.

Mr. Kodua Frimpong emphasised that strict adherence to these timelines is essential for a smooth transition between phases and to ensure organisational efficiency.

The reorganisation exercise is part of the NPP’s broader effort to restructure its grassroots and regional leadership, enhance party cohesion, and strengthen its capacity ahead of future national political activities. Party officials describe the process as critical for preparing the party for upcoming political engagements.
