The Chief Executive Officer of the Lawson Group of Companies, Dr. Lawson Kyei Manu, together with his wife, Mrs. Rebecca Kyei Manu, put smiles on the faces of widows and widowers at Abuakwa in the Ashanti Region on Boxing Day, December 26, through a massive Christmas donation exercise.

More than 2,000 widows and widowers benefited from the benevolent gesture, which formed part of the couple’s commitment to supporting the vulnerable in society during the festive season.

The beneficiaries received assorted food items including bags of rice, sardines, cooking oil, mackerel, and live hens, enabling them to celebrate Christmas with dignity and joy.

The atmosphere at the donation centre was filled with excitement and gratitude, as some elderly women broke into energetic dances to express their appreciation—a moment that left many onlookers amazed by their joy and enthusiasm.
