Galatasaray have officially secured the permanent signing of Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen in a blockbuster €75 million deal, ending a drawn-out transfer saga with Napoli.

The Turkish giants confirmed the move earlier today following protracted negotiations with the Serie A club. Osimhen, 25, spent the 2024/25 season on loan at Galatasaray, where he dazzled with 37 goals in 41 appearances—helping the club win both the Super Lig and Turkish Cup.

Despite uncertainty over a permanent transfer, Galatasaray’s management pushed hard to retain the striker, eventually sealing the deal. According to renowned football insider Fabrizio Romano, the structure of the agreement includes an initial €40 million payment, followed by €35 million next year, along with a 10% future profit clause and goal-based bonuses. Additionally, the contract reportedly includes a clause preventing any sale to Italian clubs for the next two years.
