A 25-year-old man, Kwabina Gyasi, is in critical condition after he was viciously attacked with a cutlass by a man identified as Mr. Cudjoe at Benso, a community in the Western Region.
Eyewitnesses say the shocking incident occurred when Mr. Cudjoe allegedly caught Kwabina defecating on his cocoa farm. Outraged by the act, he confronted the young man, and the altercation quickly escalated into violence.
During the confrontation, Mr. Cudjoe reportedly pulled out a cutlass and slashed Kwabina multiple times, inflicting deep wounds on various parts of his body.
The victim was rushed to a nearby medical facility, where he is currently battling for his life.
Local authorities have been informed, and investigations are underway.
