The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has confirmed 14 new cases of Mpox, pushing the total number of infections nationwide to 133 as of June 25, 2025.
In a reassuring update, the GHS stated that no new deaths have occurred, and the overall death toll remains at zero. Notably, there are no current hospital admissions, suggesting that all active cases are being managed without the need for hospitalisation.
Health officials continue to stress that Mpox is mainly transmitted through close personal contact.
The public is urged to strictly follow preventive measures to help curb the spread of the virus.
The GHS reaffirmed its commitment to closely monitoring the situation and has deployed robust response systems to contain new cases promptly and effectively.
