Nigerian actress Regina Daniels has finally presented herself for a drug test, nearly three months after facing allegations of substance abuse.
Sharing a video on Instagram from the hospital, she said, “Hi guys, so I’m here at the hospital, I’m about to run my drug test.”
The development comes in the wake of a public dispute with her husband and politician, Senator Ned Nwoko. In October 2025, Regina accused Ned of domestic violence and abuse. In response, Ned denied the claims and alleged that Regina was involved in substance abuse, claiming he had access to her medical records.
Further complicating matters, Regina’s co-wife, Laila Charani, also alleged that the actress introduced her to drugs. Amid the ongoing controversy, an alleged medical report from Serenity Royale Hospital circulated online, claiming toxic levels of marijuana, morphine, opiates, cocaine, and alcohol in Regina’s system.
Serenity Royale Hospital has since denied releasing any such laboratory results, stating: “We wish to state clearly that the publication containing classified information of Mrs Nwoko Regina did not emanate from us and respectfully request the public to disregard same.”
