The family of the late former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, on Wednesday, November 26, held a solemn Requiem Mass in her memory as preparations heighten for her final funeral rites.
The deeply reflective service brought together former President Nana Akufo-Addo, former First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo, Majority Leader Mahama Ayariga, as well as close family members, friends, and sympathisers, all united in mourning her passing on October 23, 2025.

The church was filled with hymns, prayers, and scriptural readings as the congregation paid glowing tribute to the former First Lady’s enduring legacy and decades of national service.

Dressed in black, the Rawlings family led the solemn rites, expressing heartfelt appreciation to Ghanaians for the immense outpouring of love and support since the announcement of her death.

The atmosphere throughout the service remained quiet and reflective, with mourners sharing memories of her remarkable contributions to public life and women’s empowerment.
Meanwhile, a state funeral has been scheduled for Friday, November 28, 2025, at Independence Square to honour the life and legacy of the late former First Lady.
