The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has declared Ernest Darko Akore, a former Technical Advisor (Chef de Cabinet) at the Ministry of Finance, wanted in connection with an ongoing investigation into corruption and related offenses linked to the controversial Revenue Assurance Contract between the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) and Strategic Mobilisation Limited (SML).

A public notice issued by the OSP states that Akore, aged 67, is being sought under a High Court-issued arrest warrant (Suit No. CR/0397/2025) in the criminal case titled Republic v. Ernest D. Akore.

The former advisor is believed to have played a role in dealings that have raised red flags regarding the procurement and implementation of the GRA–SML contract. Authorities are urging the public to assist with information on his whereabouts.
