Lawyer William Kusi, Ashanti Regional Communications Director for the Kennedy Agyapong Campaign, has described the NPP flagbearership contest as a challenging race, but he singled out Kennedy Agyapong as the most marketable candidate for the position.
Speaking in an interview with Kwame Tanko on the Ghana Se Sen Morning Show, Kusi emphasized that this election “won’t be an easy one,” noting that it is common for parties in Ghana to pursue two-term agendas.
He added that the probability of the NDC seeking a second term is high, signaling stiff competition ahead.
Despite the challenges, Kusi expressed strong confidence in Kennedy Agyapong, stating, “It is without doubt Kennedy Agyapong is the easiest candidate to market. He is the best candidate to promote, and we are urging all delegates and party supporters to vote for him massively.”
On the conduct of the NPP election process, Kusi commended the measures put in place by the party’s election committee, describing them as “so far, so good.”
Lawyer Kusi also highlighted a significant shift in Agyapong’s campaign style. “Unlike previous campaigns, Kennedy Agyapong now focuses on policies he will implement to drive the nation forward. This approach demonstrates a commitment to addressing the country’s challenges rather than relying solely on personality or rhetoric,” he said.
