Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson says the economic strides made in the first half of 2025 are only the beginning of a greater transformation for Ghana.

Speaking during the 2025 Mid-Year Budget Review in Parliament, Dr. Forson credited the achievements to strong leadership, prudent fiscal management, and a renewed national confidence.

“This is not just about economic numbers. It’s about restoring hope to a nation once overwhelmed by uncertainty,” he said. “The gains we’ve made in the past six months are only the beginning of our turnaround.”

He emphasized that the government’s aim goes beyond managing past difficulties—it is focused on reversing economic distress and steering Ghana onto a stable and sustainable path.

“We’ve shifted from making promises to delivering purpose, from facing distress to providing relief,” the Minister asserted.

Dr. Forson also extended appreciation to the Ghanaian people for their resilience and support during the recovery process. He assured them that the administration remains focused on delivering long-term, impactful reforms.

“The journey is not over, but the path is clear and the national spirit has been reignited,” he added.
