President John Mahama is scheduled to unveil a comprehensive Code of Conduct today, May 5, 2025, targeting all government appointees.

This initiative forms a key part of his 120-day Social Contract commitments aimed at fostering integrity and accountability in public office.

The announcement was made by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Minister in Charge of Government Communications and MP for Abura Asebu Kwamankese, in a social media update.

He described the upcoming week as a defining period for the government’s broader reform agenda.

According to Ofosu, the Code of Conduct—first introduced during the swearing-in of ministers—will set clear ethical standards for public servants.

He noted that the document will act as a fundamental guide for responsible governance, ensuring that appointees uphold integrity and transparency across all levels of service.
