Amid the escalating violence, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that U.S. and Iranian officials plan to resume talks next week, aiming to revive dialogue interrupted by the 12-day conflict between Israel and Iran.
Iran reports that at least 627 people—including 13 children—have been killed and 4,870 wounded since Israel’s offensive began on June 13.
In Israel, Iranian strikes have claimed the lives of at least 28 people. The assault on Gaza continues unabated, with at least 51 people killed today alone.
Gaza’s Health Ministry reports that the war has resulted in over 56,000 deaths and more than 131,000 injuries.
The October 7 attacks in Israel left approximately 1,139 people dead and over 200 taken captive.
