The Lawson Media Inter-Community Football Gala reached a dramatic milestone as the group stages concluded on Day Five, producing shock results, confirmed eliminations, and setting up crucial quarter-final clashes to be played today at the Cocoa Ase Astro Turf at Bantama.

Day Five action opened with a major upset as Nkwantakese stunned Atonsu with a commanding 2–0 victory, reshaping the group standings. Pakyi and Patasi shared the spoils in a 1–1 draw, while Tech edged Adiebeba 2–1 in a decisive encounter that sealed Adiebeba’s exit after two group-stage defeats.

Atasomanso and Asawase battled to a goalless draw, while Suame and Nkwantakese played out a 1–1 stalemate. Fans were later treated to an exciting goal-fest as Pakyi and Moshie Zongo drew 2–2. Ejisu further underlined their title ambitions with a 2–1 win over Tech, before Abuakwa wrapped up the day with a narrow 1–0 victory against Atasomanso.
