Focus on Akwatia By-Election, Not Personal Campaigns – NPP General Secretary Urges Aspirants
NPP’s Justin Kodua calls for unity and focus ahead of crucial Akwatia by-election, postponing nationwide campaign activities.
The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Frimpong Kodua, has called on all NPP presidential aspirants to prioritize the upcoming Akwatia by-election over their individual campaign activities.
He emphasized that now is not the time for internal political competition but rather for collective party unity and focus.
“Let us direct our energy and resources toward securing victory in the Akwatia by-election,” Kodua stated.
He assured aspirants that they will have full freedom to campaign across the country after the by-election has concluded.
“Once the Akwatia polls are over, aspirants will be free to move around the country and engage in their personal campaign activities,” he added.
His remarks come as the party ramps up efforts to retain the Akwatia seat, which is seen as critical ahead of the 2024 general elections.
