Didi Dramani Insists Hearts of Oak Can Still Win The League Despite Slow Start
Hearts coach remains optimistic, says team can turn draws into victories and revive title pursuit

- Didi Dramani insists Hearts of Oak can still win the league despite six draws in eleven matches.
- Coach says team must convert draws into wins to close the five-point gap behind leaders Aduana Stars.
- Hearts prepare for crucial fixtures against Vision FC, Karela United, and Nations FC.
Accra Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani says he remains convinced that the Phobians are still strong contenders for the Ghana Premier League title, despite a string of inconsistent performances.
Hearts have dropped to sixth place on the league table, five points behind leaders Aduana Stars, following a goalless draw against Young Apostles on Sunday. The stalemate marked their sixth draw in eleven matches, prompting doubts about their ability to mount a title challenge.
But Dramani maintains that there is ample time to recover and push for the championship.
“It’s still possible to win the league because we have over thirty matches more to play,” he said. “We just have to turn our drawing streak into wins. If you want to win the league, you have to win games.”
Reflecting on the weekend’s draw — another match in which Hearts failed to score — Dramani noted that their opponents rose to the occasion.
“We anticipated a tough game. They were highly motivated because they were playing against Hearts of Oak. It was a match of few chances and lots of transitions,” he explained.
Hearts have managed only one win in November, a 2-1 victory over Basake Holy Stars. The Phobians will face Vision FC, Karela United, and Nations FC in their next three league fixtures as they look to revive their title hopes.
