Chairman COKA Supports Physically Challenged Girl with Wheelchair and Educational Aid

Humanitarian gesture aims to improve mobility, education and welfare of a 15-year-old girl in Atwima Kwanwoma District

Aspiring Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, widely known as Chairman COKA, has extended humanitarian support to a 15-year-old physically challenged girl, Perl Ampadu Boateng, at Kotwi Kyekyewere in the Atwima Kwanwoma District of the Ashanti Region.

The donation forms part of a series of recent charitable initiatives undertaken by Chairman COKA to assist persons with disabilities and vulnerable families across several communities.

The support package included a brand-new wheelchair to enhance the girl’s mobility, as well as educational materials such as a school bag, water bottle, bowl and other learning essentials to encourage her continued education.

The family also received food items including rice, sardines and cooking oil, in addition to cash support to help ease their financial challenges.

Chairman COKA said he was moved to act after a video highlighting the girl’s condition circulated on social media. He subsequently paid a personal visit to the family to assess the situation and offer assistance.

He stressed the need for compassion, care and collective responsibility towards persons living with disabilities, urging community members to protect and support the vulnerable.

He further assured the family of his commitment to monitor the girl’s progress and provide additional support when necessary.

The girl’s grandmother, speaking on behalf of the family, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the timely intervention, noting that the donations would significantly improve the child’s mobility, confidence and ability to return to school.

The family also offered prayers for Chairman COKA, asking for strength and blessings as he continues his humanitarian efforts.
