Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has been officially sworn in as the new Board Chairman of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA).

The swearing-in ceremony held on Wednesday, June 25, also marked the appointment of Professor Ransford Gyampo, acting CEO of the Ghana Shippers Authority, as a member of the restructured board.

These appointments aim to bolster the governance framework of the GPHA, ensuring strategic leadership in managing and advancing Ghana’s port infrastructure.

The newly formed board is tasked with steering policy direction, improving operational efficiency, and driving expansion initiatives at the country’s major port facilities.
