A Tema High Court has ordered evangelist Patricia Asiedua, popularly known as Nana Agradaa, to pay GH¢100,000 in damages to gospel musician Empress Gifty Adorye in a defamation suit.

The case, which began in May 2025, saw Empress Gifty file a GH¢20 million defamation lawsuit against Agradaa, citing slanderous and libellous statements made about her.

Tema High Court “A,” presided over by Justice Janet Marfo, issued the order after both parties agreed to settle the matter out of court.

Along with the monetary compensation, the court directed Nana Agradaa to publicly retract all allegations made against Empress Gifty and issue a formal apology.

According to Adom News reporter Mike Two, the settlement marks the conclusion of the legal dispute between the two public figures.
