The High Court in Accra has ordered all parties in the case involving Patricia Asieduaa, popularly known as Nana Agradaa, and her co-accused to formally submit the full terms of a proposed plea bargain ahead of the next hearing.
The Court directed that the agreement must be filed at least three clear days before the adjourned date of December 16, 2025.
During proceedings on Tuesday, December 2, prosecutors revealed that they were considering applying for a bench warrant against the second accused. However, defence lawyers explained that no official hearing notice had been served on him.
Counsel for Nana Agradaa informed the court that negotiations with the Office of the Attorney-General over a possible plea bargain were “far advanced” and requested a short adjournment to finalize the process. The prosecution confirmed that the complainant, Emmanuel Appiah Fumum, was actively involved in the discussions and was present in court.
The presiding judge subsequently directed the court registry to ensure that proper hearing notice is served on the lawyer for the second accused before the next sitting.
The case stems from allegations that Nana Agradaa broadcast nude images of Pastor Emmanuel Appiah Fumum, also known as Osofo Biblical, on her television station and social media platforms without his consent.
According to prosecutors, the images were displayed during a live programme where panelists allegedly mocked the complainant, an act said to be in violation of the Cybersecurity Act, 2020 (Act 1038), which criminalizes the non-consensual sharing of intimate images.
Nana Agradaa, who is currently serving a 15-year prison sentence in a separate fraud case, appeared in court.
Meanwhile, her lawyers also raised concerns over recent media interviews granted by the complainant, in which he allegedly suggested that their client had deteriorated emotionally since her imprisonment. The judge, however, urged the prosecution to educate the complainant against making such public comments while the case remains before the court.
