The Ghana Police Service has arrested three additional suspects linked to the Adabraka gold robbery following months of intelligence-led operations and surveillance.

The arrests took place on Monday, January 19, 2026, in Ashaiman.

The newly apprehended suspects have been identified as Nashiru Abubakari (aka Soldier), Fatao Mohammed (aka Motorway), and a third suspect known as 50 Cent.

Their capture raises the total number of suspects in custody to seven, after the earlier arrest of four other key individuals connected to the robbery.

Police have confirmed that investigations are ongoing to locate additional accomplices and recover items stolen during the crime.

The three suspects are currently in police custody and are expected to be charged and processed in court in accordance with Ghanaian law.
