Barcelona are reportedly monitoring Harry Kane and Erling Haaland as they consider alternatives to Atletico Madrid forward Julian Alvarez.

According to reports, Barcelona have identified England international Kane, 33, and Manchester City striker Haaland, 26, as potential options as the Catalan club assess their attacking plans.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich have reportedly identified Germany and Newcastle United forward Nick Woltemade as a possible replacement for Kane. The 24-year-old is currently on loan at Juventus.

In England, Manchester United are said to have renewed their interest in Everton and England defender Jarrad Branthwaite, 24, following his return from injury.

Arsenal are reportedly monitoring Liverpool winger Rio Ngumoha, 18, although Liverpool are keen to secure the youngster on a long-term contract.

Tottenham Hotspur also remain interested in Nottingham Forest midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White. The north London club previously attempted to sign the England international in the summer of 2025, but Forest are reportedly unwilling to sell the 26-year-old.

Elsewhere, Real Madrid forward Endrick could be available during the January transfer window, with Manchester United among the clubs reportedly interested in the 20-year-old Brazil international.

Barcelona midfielder Rodri is also reported to have spoken with Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho to thank him for his interest and the way he treated him after the midfielder chose Barcelona over a move to the Spanish capital from Manchester City in the summer.

Barcelona sporting director Deco has meanwhile held talks with Raphinha over a potential extension to the Brazilian forward’s contract. The 29-year-old is currently tied to the club until 2028.

In Italy, AC Milan are reportedly close to deciding whether to make Omari Hutchinson’s loan move from Nottingham Forest permanent. The option is understood to be worth close to €50 million (£42.8 million).

The transfer developments remain subject to negotiations, club decisions and player agreements, with no deals confirmed in the reports cited.
