Member of Parliament for Tolon and Deputy Minority Chief Whip, Hon. Habib Iddrisu, has endorsed Justin Frimpong Kodua (JFK) in the race for the position of General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
According to Hon. Iddrisu, his experience working closely with all three other aspirants has convinced him that none matches Mr Kodua in leadership experience, humility, accessibility, strategic understanding and knowledge of the NPP.
He said the party, at its current stage, needs a General Secretary who understands its structures, connects effectively with the grassroots and can provide credible leadership for its rebuilding efforts ahead of the 2028 elections.
“For me, JFK is the clear choice,” Hon. Iddrisu stated.
He further called for the retention of Mr Kodua as General Secretary, arguing that his leadership qualities and understanding of the party make him suited to lead the NPP through its rebuilding process.
The endorsement adds to the ongoing campaign ahead of the NPP’s internal elections, where candidates are seeking support from delegates for various national executive positions.
