GES To Distribute EduPack Packages To SHS, SHTS
The initiative is aimed at reducing students’ personal luggage while helping schools tackle bedbug infestations in boarding facilities.

The Ghana Education Service (GES) is set to distribute EduPack packages to Senior High Schools (SHS) and Senior High Technical Schools (SHTS) across the country.
The initiative is aimed at reducing the amount of personal luggage students carry to boarding schools while also helping schools tackle bedbug infestations.
Prospectus Ghana Ltd. has been contracted to distribute the packages to schools nationwide from August 1 to September 10, 2026.
According to the GES, the initiative will make students’ movement to school easier by reducing the need to transport bulky personal belongings from home.
The Service also believes the move will help address bedbug infestations in boarding facilities, which can be associated with personal items brought into schools.
Heads of SHS and SHTS have therefore been directed to make the necessary arrangements to receive the EduPack packages and cooperate with officials of Prospectus Ghana Ltd. during the distribution exercise.
Regional Directors of Education have also been tasked with informing heads of schools in their respective regions about the distribution arrangements.
In a statement, the GES said: “The Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) wishes to inform all Heads of Senior High Schools (SHS) and Senior High Technical Schools (SHTS) that Prospectus Ghana Ltd. will distribute EduPack Packages to schools from 1st August to 10th September, 2026.”
The GES has urged school authorities and other stakeholders to support the exercise to ensure a smooth distribution process.
