COKA Swears In New Ashanti NPP Appointees, Calls for Unity and Hard Work
Regional Chairman charges deputy executives to strengthen party structures and work towards NPP’s return to power.

Newly elected Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Odeneho Kwaku Appiah (COKA), has sworn in appointed deputy regional executives and other appointees, charging them to work together to strengthen the party.
The appointments and swearing-in were carried out in accordance with Article 9, Clauses 2 and 10 of the NPP Constitution, 2025, as amended.
Addressing the appointees, Chairman COKA urged them to demonstrate commitment, discipline and unity as they assume their respective responsibilities.
He stressed the importance of unity of purpose, saying a united regional leadership would be better positioned to mobilise the party’s grassroots and work towards securing victory in the next general election.
According to COKA, the NPP must remain focused and disciplined if it is to successfully challenge the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), which he accused of failing to meet the expectations of many Ghanaians.
He therefore called on the newly sworn-in deputies and other appointees to put aside personal interests and work collectively in the interest of the party.
COKA expressed confidence that with dedication, teamwork and effective coordination, the Ashanti Regional NPP could play a crucial role in the party’s efforts to return to power.
The new appointees are expected to support the regional executive in implementing the party’s programmes and strengthening its structures across the region.
