Former NPP General Secretary Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong has dismissed as false a claim circulating on social media suggesting that he had said he would vote for President John Dramani Mahama if given the opportunity to vote today.
In a brief statement addressing the publication, Ing. Agyepong described the claim as “fake news” and urged the public to be cautious about information circulated online.
“Not everything posted online is a fact. Verify before you believe, and definitely before you share. Thank you.”
His response comes amid growing political discussions and the circulation of various claims involving political figures on social media.
Ing. Agyepong’s statement makes clear that he did not make the alleged comment endorsing President Mahama or calling for him to continue in office.
