WINNEBA, CENTRAL REGION — Women constituency executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Central Region have expressed unwavering backing for the re-election bid of General Secretary Lawyer Justin Kodua Frimpong (JFK). They declared their strong endorsement of his candidacy during his recent regional campaign tour.

Led by Madam Cecilia Esi Arhin-Gyan, the Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese Constituency Women’s Organizer, the women gathered in Winneba, Effutu Constituency, where JFK engaged with party officials from eight constituencies.

The women cited JFK’s dedication, integrity, and the comprehensive reforms he has implemented to strengthen party structures and empower grassroots members as key reasons for their support.

“Today, we stand here to endorse JFK because of his honesty and sincerity in serving the party and women in our party. We have benefited from the reforms and organizational improvements he has championed,” they stated.

They expressed confidence that retaining JFK as General Secretary would bolster the party’s rebuilding efforts and enable him to collaborate effectively with NPP’s Flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, in pursuit of victory in the 2028 elections. They believe this victory would prioritize women’s empowerment, opportunities, and participation in governance.

In a rallying message to their counterparts in the Bono Region, who had earlier declared their support for JFK, the Central Region women emphasized their commitment to the campaign.

“To our sisters in Bono, if you are supporting JFK, we are also carrying his campaign on our heads. We will work tirelessly for him, campaign vigorously, and ensure a landslide victory in Kumasi on October 3rd.”

This declaration underscores the growing grassroots momentum behind JFK’s bid for a second term, emphasizing the themes of being PREPARED, WELL-POSITIONED, and FOCUSED to rebuild the NPP for victory in 2028.

For the Central Region Women Executives, their message to delegates is clear: Support JFK, strengthen the party, empower women, and rebuild for future success.
