The campaign trail of the General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Lawyer Justin Frimpong Kodua (JFK), received a strong endorsement in the North East Region, as party leaders and executives rallied in support of his bid for a second term.

They emphasized that his leadership is vital to the party’s goal of reclaiming power in 2028.

The regional tour kicked off in the Nalerigu/Gambaga Constituency, where the Member of Parliament, Hon. Mohammed Nurudeen, officially welcomed JFK’s campaign team into the region.

The delegation was warmly received by the North East Regional Chairman, Fuseini Nurideen, along with the Regional Executive Committee, showcasing unity and confidence in JFK’s leadership.

In his address, Regional Chairman Fuseini Nurideen praised JFK’s unwavering dedication to the North East. He recalled the significant sacrifices JFK made during previous elections—investing time, energy, and resources in the Nalerigu/Gambaga Constituency and beyond—to secure victory for the party.

The Chairman emphasized that JFK’s efforts go beyond politics, reflecting a genuine commitment to strengthening the party from the grassroots up. He asserted that granting JFK a second term would be in the best interest of the NPP as it prepares for victory in 2028.

A standout moment came from the Regional Secretary, Sulley Sambian, who openly admitted that he did not support JFK during his first bid for General Secretary.

However, working closely with JFK over the past term changed his perspective. Sambian highlighted JFK’s dedication, accessibility, administrative skill, and commitment to institutional reforms.

He confidently affirmed that JFK has laid a solid organizational foundation for the party’s successful return to power and called on delegates nationwide to reward proven performance with another overwhelming mandate.

The campaign tour covered key constituencies across the North East, culminating in the Walewale Constituency, where JFK wrapped up another successful chapter of his nationwide outreach.

The enthusiastic reception across the region demonstrated growing confidence in his leadership and strengthened calls for delegates to renew his mandate.

Supporting JFK in the North East were regional party leaders, including:

Fuseini Nurideen – Regional Chairman
Alhaji Sadat – Regional Nasara Coordinator
Amos Walibe – Regional Communications Officer
Ibrahim Gado – First Regional Vice Chairman
Sulley Sambian – Regional Secretary
Humu Sanda – Regional Women’s Organizer
Iddrisu Mawuda – Deputy Regional Women’s Organizer

As the nationwide campaign gains momentum, the message from North East is clear: performance, loyalty, competence, and results matter.

The region believes JFK has earned the confidence of delegates through his dedicated service and deserves a renewed mandate to continue rebuilding the NPP and position it for victory in 2028.

JFK is ready. Well-positioned. Focused to rebuild.
