Liverpool Football Club has handed out more than 400 lifetime bans after a joint operation with law enforcement resulted in the seizure of over £1.2 million in criminal assets linked to illegal ticket touting.
Working alongside Merseyside Police, the club targeted organized ticket scalpers in a sweeping campaign to eradicate illicit sales both online and around Anfield stadium.
The police investigation focused primarily on dismantling money laundering operations tied to the proceeds of illegal ticket sales. As a direct result of the crackdown, Liverpool FC confirmed it has issued 432 lifetime bans and imposed 115 indefinite suspensions on individuals involved in the scheme.
Detective Chief Inspector Nick Suffield praised the joint effort following the asset seizure:

The club reaffirmed its commitment to protecting genuine supporters by maintaining a zero-tolerance policy toward unauthorized ticket reselling and ticket fraud.
